Patterned After The Beach Lifestyle by Kira Ludwig
Every Southern California's dream is to live in a beach house. But even those of us not living on the ocean's edge can indulge our dreams with Dean Miller's Hawaiian Print Bedding and its fanciful sheets emblazoned with surfboards or hula girl dancers.
Longtime friends started the Santa Ana-based company after this entrepreneur, a surfer, went sheet shopping but couldn't find any patterns he liked. He decided to design his own print to match his surf and beach lifestyle.
"In the beginning, our target was the 28-year-old bachelor who had passed the Star Wars sheets phase. Now, we have become more broad but haven't fallen away from our original idea of the Hawaiian beach lifestyle," the owner says.
Modeled after the patterns of funky Hawaiian shirts, the sheets and accessories have soothing names like "Paradise Abound" and "Heavenly Hulas." For more information, go to www.deanmillerprints.com or call (949) 698 - 6278. |
