Raffia Window Valance July 29, 2013 Reviewer: Donna Brake from Hypoluxo, FL United States   Love them so much, I ordered for the second room that I redecorated.  You should hear the comments.  Went to the Polynesian Islands last summer and the valance is a lovely reminder of that trip! Satisfied shopper! June 23, 2013 Reviewer: Anonymous Person from Paxton, MA United States   Nice quality. Looks great. The valance could be a little wider. I am replacing the artificial one that I had purchased a couple of years ago from Dean Miller and this one does not cover as much of the window. Would not be good for a wide window. It just makes it. Looks great! April 24, 2013 Reviewer: kristin teed from pleasanton, CA United States   The valance really adds an authentic touch to my son's "surf" themed bedroom.  We ordered 2 to cover the length of the window and we had to trim up the ends quite a bit so it didn't hang as low on the window.  This was easy enough to do and allowed us to customize it to our specific needs.  When first opened and hung up the raffia had a very strong, distinct "smell".  We aired out the room for a few days and I no longer notice the smell.  Really is fun, unique decor.  Now I'm considering the bedskirt!
