You are only purchasing the Hotel style "layover" strip, which is meant to be laid down on the bed, it is purely a decorative piece. It will not cover the entire bed, nor is it meant to be used as a blanket. Our Hotel Hawaii bed runners have an under side of black fabric to add some weight and quality craftmanship to our design. If you would like to purchase an all-white duvet cover, we have those available as well.
